A Henry Ford doctor who "came as close to death as you can be" after contracting the novel coronavirus, then recovered, only to have his father pass away days later, was uplifted Friday with the friendly faces of his beloved Michigan State Spartans.
Dr. Scott Kaatz, a big MSU fan, was surprised by football coach Mel Tucker and basketball coach Tom Izzo on a video conference call.
