EAST LANSING — Joe Bachie’s career at Michigan State is over after the Big Ten denied the appeal of his suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, but coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday he will be honored alongside the rest of the senior class Saturday against Maryland (3:30, FS1).
“I felt like treating (the suspension) just like an injury,” Dantonio said. “We went through the appeal process, I felt they did their due diligence and took their time with it and the decision went against us.
