The senior ended a three-plus game shooting drought with a 3-pointer midway through Saturday night’s first half against 10th-seeded Minnesota, and he finished with a workmanlike nine points and eight rebounds to help No. 2 seed Michigan State advance to the Sweet 16 with a 70-50 victory.
