Michigan State's Chuck Bullough still 'brainwashing' players to create turnovers

EAST LANSING - Chuck Bullough had all of spring practice and fall camp to get players to adjust to a new way of thinking.

The first-year Michigan State defensive ends coach introduced his "ball disruption" system to the team to create more turnovers. The No. 21 Spartans (2-1) are now a quarter of the way through the regular season and are tied for 106th in the nation in turnover margin at minus-2 with five gained (all interceptions) and seven lost.

"It's been really good," Bullough said Wednesday afternoon of implementing the system. "It picked up a little bit last week.
