EAST LANSING — It was a brief but necessary trip to Michigan State’s sideline for Cassius Winston.
Tom Izzo pulled him from Friday night’s game less than 3 minutes into an eventual 99-69 blowout of Oakland and quickly barked at the junior after he committed a relatively egregious, lackadaisical turnover.
“You know, when you have the ball right here (at chest-level) and the guy just steals it from you,” Izzo said later, “I figure you’re not into the game.
