EAST LANSING — Cassius Winston entered the tunnel leading to the Breslin Center court, just as he had hundreds of times before.
His green Michigan State basketball hoodie, pulled over his head, covered most of his face. His youngest brother, Khy, walked with him, his blue pullover drawn tightly as well.
Winston found a seat along the sideline and sunk into his seat, his head collapsing into his hands.
