The Michigan State Spartans women’s basketball team got exciting news yesterday evening. 2023 four-star forward Jordan Wood gave her verbal commitment to MSU via Twitter.
The 6-foot-2 forward hails from Waukegan, Illinois and plays for Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois located to the north of Chicago. Back in her freshman season, she averaged 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
Wood is described as an agile rebounder who can play as a finesse-four and attack in the transition game. She can stretch the defense with her play from the arc and has lots of potential as she continues to grow in her game.
