After one season with the Michigan State Spartans men’s basketball program, freshman walk-on forward Peter Nwoke is heading to the transfer portal, he announced on Monday.
Nwoke came to Michigan State as a preferred walk-on from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s after he averaged 9.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game during his senior year of high school. He did not appear in a game for the Spartans this season.
As MLive.com reported when Nwoke announced his move to Michigan State, he never played organized basketball until he moved to the United States as a freshman in high school.
