Editor's note: This is the fourth part of a series projecting Michigan State's depth chart by position heading into fall camp.
A year ago, Michigan State was reloading at tight end after losing its top two players at the position, including one of the program's all-time greats.
The Spartans now return all of their scholarship tight ends, who are looking for an increase in production after a dropoff in 2017.
The decline wasn't too surprising given the departure of Josiah Price and Jamal Lyles. Price, the program's all-time leader for touchdowns by a tight end with 21, had 38 catches for 387 yards and five touchdowns in 2016 as the position group combined for 52 receptions.
