NEW YORK — New Michigan State University president Samuel Stanley voiced his support for Mark Dantonio as the leader of the football program.
Stanley, who took over at MSU on Aug. 1, said Friday before the Pinstripe Bowl that he maintains the same optimism about the Spartans as Dantonio, who said on Nov. 19 that he plans to return in 2020 for his 14th season as head coach.
