Michigan State's first loss of the season resulted in a large drop in the latest national rankings.
The Spartans (1-1), who are coming off a 16-13 defeat at Arizona State (2-0) on Saturday night, fell 10 spots to No. 25 in the AP rankings and dropped 11 spots to No. 24 in the Coaches Poll. Both polls were released Sunday afternoon and Michigan State had the largest drop in the nation.
