• Michigan State returns home to face Rutgers on Saturday, Nov. 12 at noon in Spartan Stadium. The game will be broadcast on BTN and BTN2Go. The Spartans (2-7, 0-6 B1G) fell at Illinois on the road last Saturday, 31-27, while the Scarlet Knights (2-7, 0-6 B1G) lost to Indiana at home, 33-27.
• Saturday’s game marks the eighth meeting between Michigan State and Rutgers. The Spartans lead the overall series, 4-3, including a 2-0 mark in Big Ten play. The Spartans defeated the Scarlet Knights in 2014 in their first matchup as Big Ten opponents in Spartan Stadium, 45-3.
