Michigan State Men’s Basketball News: A.J. Hoggard undergoes meniscus surgery, preseason All-Big Ten teams and more

True freshman guard, A.J. Hoggard underwent meniscus surgery according to reports from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. He is expected to miss approximately two weeks of practice but is on target to be ready for the start of the season. In a follow up tweet, Rothstein also reported that Coach Izzo does not have a set point guard rotation as of yet, but spoke highly of Foster Loyer.

Tom Izzo tells me that Michigan State freshman A.J. Hoggard had meniscus surgery recently and has been out about two weeks, but should be ready for the start of the season on 11/25.
