Michigan State Men’s Basketball 2020-2021 Report Cards

The Michigan State Spartans basketball team had a very inconsistent season during the 2020-2021 campaign. There were incredible highs, and some very extreme low points throughout the season. The Spartans clawed their way into the First Four round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament — Tom Izzo’s 23rd consecutive appearance in the Big Dance — but had an early exit, as eventual Final Four participant UCLA beat Michigan State in overtime of the play-in game.

With the season now over, Michigan State has already seen a lot of turnover on its roster, with a few players transferring out of the program, Aaron Henry declaring for the NBA Draft, Joshua Langford expected to move on, and with former Northeastern point guard Tyson Walker joining the Spartans for the 2021-2022 campaign.
