EAST LANSING - Michigan is off to a 2-0 start following a 28-14 win against Western Michigan on Saturday.
The Spartans have a bye this week before hosting Notre Dame on Sept. 23. Injuries piled up for Michigan State last season but the team appears to be mostly healthy after two weeks.
"We'll practice three times this week and we need to stay fresh and healthy," Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday. "That's probably as big a focus as anything. Right now, we're a healthy football team and we need to stay that way and start to prepare for Notre Dame.
