Michigan State football addressed more needs in the transfer portal on Tuesday with several commitments, and several more that haven’t been announced yet.
Pat Fitzgerald landed a backup quarterback, some more depth in the trenches, and some special teams stars that will undoubtedly take over as starters.
The Spartans have already landed their punter, Rhys Dakin, from Iowa. He followed his special teams coordinator, LeVar Woods, to East Lansing, and it looks like he’s going to have some big shoes to fill with Ryan Eckley declaring for the NFL draft.
Martin Connington transferred, leaving a hole at kicker, but Fitzgerald addressed that, too, on Tuesday.
