EAST LANSING — Mark Dantonio is giving his players a long weekend to breathe, rest and recover.
Michigan State’s preseason camp closed Thursday. When the Spartans reconvene Sunday, it will be Tulsa time.
“I think it’s important. You gotta step away from football a little bit,” Dantonio said after naming the four captains. “And you have an opportunity to maybe go home, so a lot of our guys will go.
