Michigan State football's gets dominated, proving Mel Tucker has a lot of work to do

Football is pretty simple.

When you can’t stop the run, you usually lose.

When you throw three interceptions in one half, you usually lose.

When you give up a punt return for a touchdown, you are in a heap of trouble.

And when you do all three? You get your butt kicked.

Which is what happened on Saturday when Iowa crushed Michigan State, 49-7.

MSU coach Mel Tucker has a ton of work left to do.

Maybe that wasn’t clear and obvious when the Spartans beat Michigan — because that was a bad team playing against another bad team — but it was clear at Kinnick Stadium.
