EAST LANSING – Michigan State’s new football coach isn’t built for YouTube. Or any other corner of the internet where video pops up in a search engine.

Oh, you can get the flavor of Mel Tucker’s personality watching a few seconds of film, but you can’t get his essence. And it wasn’t until Bill Beekman walked out of a hotel conference room in Colorado late Tuesday night that he knew in his bones Tucker was the man to lead MSU’s football program.
