Quite possibly one of the quietest recruitments in Mark Dantonio’s tenure ended on Thursday evening as three-star physical running back Brandon Wright picked MSU over the likes of Boston College, Cincinnati, Indiana, Pitt and Purdue.

Why was this such a surprise? Because he never announced his scholarship offer from the Spartans, so he was a name that didn’t quite make it to the radar of the casual MSU fan.
The Spartans were looking to land at least one running back in this class seeing as LJ Scott is in his final year of eligibility and the running backs for 2019 will be extremely inexperienced.
