Michigan State Football: What are chances to land 4-star S Jaylen Reed?

Recruiting has hit a roadblock for Michigan State under Mel Tucker. Is it because he’s not a great recruiter? Absolutely not, but rather because of a pandemic that’s kept everyone quarantined and campus visits and in-person recruiting is currently not a thing.

But that hasn’t stopped Tucker from putting in work remotely. He’s extending dozens of offers a week and has been working hard to land some big-time in-state prospects.

Jaylen Reed may be one of the biggest names on the Spartans’ recruiting board, ranked the No. 237 overall prospect and 10th-best safety in the country, according to the 247Sports composite.
