New Michigan State football coach Mel Tucker has made an immediate impact on the recruiting since he got the job on Feb. 12. The Spartans secured 12 verbal commitments for the 2021 class in a one-month period. Then last week, Miami Gulliver Prep defensive back Gabe Nealy reopened his recruitment, the first decommitment of the Mel Tucker era in East Lansing.
