Michigan State football makes cut for 4-star in-state LB Michael Williams

Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker talks to linebacker Antjuan Simmons (34) during the second half against Ohio State at the Spartan Stadium in East Lansing on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020.

Although the 2021 class has not been sewn up, Michigan State football has its sights set on 2022 with four-star linebacker Michael Williams.

In-state recruiting is going to start heating up more and more over the next few years, especially with Jim Harbaugh back and Mel Tucker gaining ground.

Tucker won his first battle over Harbaugh this cycle with Rayshaun Benny committing to the Spartans after looking like a Michigan lock for months.
