EAST LANSING — Michigan State football’s 2020 recruiting class continues to take shape in steady fashion.
Cole DeMarzo became the Spartans’ 13th commitment and 12th 3-star prospect to join coach Mark Dantonio’s group for next season.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound DeMarzo, who revealed his college choice Sunday night on Twitter, is a safety/outside linebacker from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. He picked the Spartans over offers from Toledo, Cincinnati, Tulane, Air Force and Appalachian State among others. DeMarzo is rated the 31st-best prospect in South Carolina and the No. 119 outside linebacker in the 2020 class according to 247Sports.
