Michigan State football picked up a surprise commitment on Tuesday evening as three-star safety AJ Kirk became a member of the Spartans’ 2021 class.
Sometimes commitments come out of nowhere. While some recruits these days like to release top schools lists and then plan commitment dates to be broadcast on social media, there are guys like AJ Kirk who like to be low key.
And that’s not a bad thing.
Sure, it’s a good thing to be excited about taking that next step as a football player, committing to your college of choice for the next 3-5 years, but it’s also admirable to do so and not look for the spotlight.
