As one of two returning All-Big Ten first-teamers heading into the 2019 season, Joe Bachie has some sky-high expectations.
The senior linebacker decided to pass up an opportunity to be selected in the 2019 NFL Draft to come back for one last season in East Lansing. Joining forces with the likes of fellow preseason All-American Kenny Willekes, Bachie will help lead one of the best defenses in the nation.
There was plenty of talk about Bachie matching up with Michigan’s Devin Bush last season, a first-round draft selection and All-Big Ten first-team honoree, but he needed another year to prove himself worthy of that discussion.
