National Signing Day is approaching and Mark Dantonio is aiming to close strong with more commitments from some underrated, unsigned players.
On Wednesday, the Spartans landed a guy who could help on the defensive side of the ball, although maybe not immediately. He had a breakout senior season but is still one of the lower-rated commitments in the Spartans’ class, but he brings an ability to rush the passer, recording 15 sacks in 2019.
Robinson is listed as the No. 1,779 prospect and 98th-best strong-side defensive end and he is considered more of a raw prospect with potential than anything.
