Through the first couple of weeks, it didn’t seem like the injury bug was going to bite, but Michigan State should have known better. The coaching staff seems to always have to deal with extensive injuries, and this season is no different.
In fact, the Spartans are without some of their most important players and some could be missing extended periods of time.
Guys like Jake Hartbarger (who may be out for the season), Cody White, Darrell Stewart Jr., Cam Chambers, Jalen Nailor, LJ Scott, Cole Chewins, David Beedle, Kevin Jarvis, Josiah Scott, Josh Butler and Jacun Panasiuk have all missed time with injuries this season and they are all major contributors to the offense, defense and special teams.
