Felton Davis III went seven full rounds without hearing his name called in the 2019 NFL Draft. It was surprising considering he was a middle-round prospect a year ago and even at the start of the 2018 season, he was arguably an early-round target.
An Achilles injury changed things, especially since he couldn’t truly work out at 100 percent for teams in the draft process and he went from sure-pick to undrafted free agent.
That has apparently motivated him more than ever as he signed with the Chiefs and is already impressing as one of those undrafted free agents.
