Michigan State football fans have had a nightmare of a year.
Outside of pretty much having every game at 3:30 p.m. ET or later, fans have had to digest a season that has included just three wins, but the team has none since mid-September. This losing streak has reached seven games, and there’s a good chance that Michigan State ends the season on a nine-game losing streak, effectively (potentially) ending the Jonathan Smith era with a thud.
Smith had all of his wins vacated in 2024 because an ineligible player reportedly saw action, so he could end his Michigan State career without a win.
