EAST LANSING — Julian Barnett made his presence felt all season, particularly in Michigan State’s final three games.
But if you watched closely in the past month, when the Spartans went through warmups, the freshman did not walk out with the other skill players. He emerged linked arm-in-arm with the defense before breaking off with the wide receivers.
