EAST LANSING – Injury problems continue to grow at Michigan State football’s safety position.
Senior Kendell Brooks is not in uniform for the Spartans as they prepare to host Wisconsin at 4 p.m. Saturday (Fox). Joining him out for the homecoming game is freshman Jaden Mangham, who suffered a head/neck injury in last week’s 49-20 loss to No. 3 Ohio State.
Senior Xavier Henderson, who has been out since the opener against Western Michigan, went through warmups with the starting defense and is wearing a big brace on his right knee. He was paired with freshman Dillon Tatum as Angelo Grose again manned the nickelback spot.
