Former Michigan State football star Brian Lewerke was let go by the Patriots last week and recently worked out with the Detroit Lions.
It’s been a tough road for Brian Lewerke after his Michigan State days. He finished his Spartan career on a decent note with 9,500 total yards and 57 touchdowns. He was one of the best dual-threats in school history despite receiving plenty of flak from fans regarding his accuracy and decision-making.
When it’s all said and done and you look back at Lewerke’s MSU career, you have to appreciate just how productive he was given the circumstances.
