With Mark Dantonio’s retirement, Terrence Samuel decided it was time for him to move on, taking a job with UNLV. Though he was moved to the defensive side of the ball in 2019 from receivers coach, he was an option that Michigan State would have had for the job moving forward.
And then Don Treadwell also moved on as Mel Tucker didn’t retain any staff member from the offensive side of the ball.
So far, it looks like Jay Johnson will be offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach and Chris Kapilovic will be the offensive line coach.
