Michigan State football coach Mel Tucker adds RBs coach, special teams coordinator

EAST LANSING — Mel Tucker now has nine of his 10 assistant coaches for his new Michigan State football staff.

William Peagler will coach the Spartans' running backs, and Ross Els will become the new special teams coordinator under Tucker, the school announced Monday night.

Both Peagler and Els are coming to MSU from Tucker's staff at Colorado. Peagler was director of quality control for the Buffaloes offense; Els coached inside linebacker and special teams.
