EAST LANSING — Hours after learning his father died, Josh Butler stood on the Spartan Stadium field, readying for another game.
Coach Mark Dantonio gave Butler the start that day, his fourth of the season. The Spartans went on to stun Penn State, teammates dedicating the win to the Mesquite, Texas, native.
