EAST LANSING — Ameer Speed doesn’t have his national championship ring yet, and he’s not quite sure just yet if he’ll even be able to wear it around Michigan State football’s facility when he does.
“I hope my mother lets me have it and I can wear it a couple of times,” Speed said with a sheepish smile Thursday. “But even the rings that I had before, she always takes them and she has them hidden with her by herself. She don't want me having them because she's scared I'm gonna lose them.”
