It didn't take long, but one day into game week, and Michigan State football has already announced a program departure.
The Spartans are preparing to face Western Michigan on Friday night and all the focus has turned to that season opener, but a team spokesperson came out and revealed that a depth piece along the offensive line is no longer with the program.
That lineman is Brighton, Mich., product Hayden Lorius.
Per an MSU Spokesperson, reserve OL Hayden Lorius is no longer with the program.

Lorius is one of the depth pieces along the offensive line, but obviously judging by this move, he wasn't in that playing group of "nine or 10" guys who could compete for starting snaps.
