Michigan State football adds WR Jayden Reed, a transfer from Western Michigan

It looks like Michigan State football is getting some help at wide receiver. They'll just have to wait until 2020 to use it.

Jayden Reed, who played his freshman season with Western Michigan in 2018, announced on Twitter on Thursday that he found a new school in MSU.

Reed, a 6-foot, 170-pounder out of Aurora, Illinois, entered the transfer portal earlier this month. He led the Broncos with 56 catches for 797 yards and eight touchdowns last season, and was named to the All-Mid-American Conference second team.

He also had nine kick returns for 116 yards and 12 punt returns for 215 yards, including a 93-yard touchdown return.
