Michigan State Football: 3-star WR Tre’Von Morgan draws high praise

Losing Felton Davis III is going to hurt, there’s no way around that. Michigan State knows that replacing the senior All-Big Ten receiver will be next to impossible, but Mark Dantonio likes what he’s bringing in with his 2019 class.

In fact, the last recruit to commit to the class, three-star wide out Tre’Von Morgan, is drawing some favorable comparisons, per his new head coach.

In case you can’t read the print, Dantonio says, “Tre’Von Morgan is a bid-bodied receiver who reminds me a lot of (former Spartan) Plaxico Burress in so many different ways, not just catching the ball and his catch radius, but also the way he attacks things and his aggressive play on the field as well.
