It feels like July was about 10 days long but that just means we are barreling headfirst towards Michigan State football kickoff in just a few short weeks.
But for now, here are the highlights of the month. Honorable mentions include Darien Harris getting a well-deserved promotion and he’s on the fast track to having an important role in everything Michigan State University has to offer, football or otherwise.

3. Trae Waynes’ $500,000 gift
On July 28, it was announced that Trae Waynes and his wife had gifted the university a $500,000 donation to go toward the new Tom Izzo Football Building.
