FORT WORTH, Texas — Emoni Bates hears the questions.
He knows Michigan State basketball fans are anxious to see the top-ranked Spartan commit play as a Spartan, especially after another MSU loss Friday.
Bates, soft-spoken and succinct, said he's just focused on getting better while playing with fledgling Ypsilanti Prep Academy when asked Friday about reclassifying grade levels.
"It's just still me and my family discussing... don't really have a decision yet," Bates told the Free Press after a practice. "I'm trying to finish the season out.
