Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo is speaking out less than two weeks after a facilities employee at the university became the spotlight of an investigation once community members shared racist comments the person made on Facebook.
While the university continues to look into the situation, Izzo released a statement Monday. More than a month since George Floyd's death in Minneapolis sparked protests around the world, the longtime MSU coach said the initial steps of change are coming to fruition.
