Cassius Winston continues to add honors to his record-setting Michigan State basketball career.
The senior point guard earned his third second-team All-American selection Monday, this time by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Detroit native also earned a second-team spot from The Associated Press last week and The Sporting News on March 11.
Winston also was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches' District 7 first team Monday. The NABC Division I All-American team has not yet been released, but Winston was a second-team selection last year.
