It’s been a long time coming, but Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo has been named one of 14 finalists for the 2016 Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame class.

Izzo has been one of the best coaches in college basketball for the past 20 years and some might even argue he’s second to just Mike Krzyzewski of Duke. That would be a fair assumption, though, as Izzo has put together a tremendous resume.
