Michigan State basketball signs Julius Marble; attention turns to transfers

EAST LANSING — Julius Marble is signed. Now, Michigan State basketball plays the waiting game.

Marble, a 6-foot-8 power forward from Dallas, signed his letter of intent Wednesday, joining the Spartans’ other incoming freshmen guard Mark “Rocket” Watts and swingman Malik Hall for their 2019-20 recruiting class.

Coach Tom Izzo said he and his staff “fell in love with” late in the recruiting cycle with Marble, who committed to MSU on March 10.
