Although he had signed his letter of intent after the early signing period, Michigan State basketball has been waiting for talented four-star freshman Rocket Watts to report to campus.
It’s not like he’s been a no-show for any serious reasons, but he’s been working out with some big names this offseason, including former Spartan point guard and current Detroit Piston Kalin Lucas.
Some has started rumors about Watts’ eligibility saying that he may not get to campus until late August despite the rest of the freshman class already reporting. Some have said he needs to finish up some classes and Watts dispelled any rumors about his eligibility, stating on Twitter that he’s excited to get to school next week.
