Midnight Madness and the Izzone Campour are in the rearview mirror, which can only mean one thing: Michigan State basketball’s return is right around the corner.
The feeling is a little different inside the Breslin Center this season. Michigan State is fresh off its first Big Ten title since Cassius Winston was still on campus, and there’s belief that this team could repeat despite the Purdue Boilermakers being the likely No. 1 team in the country.
Michigan State won last season’s Big Ten title by a whopping three games after being overlooked in the preseason, and Tom Izzo is ready to do it all over again.
