Michigan State basketball got some good news two weeks ago when Julius Avent committed to the Spartans, and then Tom Izzo hosted a key five-star center target a week later, along with four-star point guard commit Carlos Medlock Jr. and four-star forward Kalyn Collingwood.
The center target that was just on campus with Medlock is none other than Ethan Taylor, a five-star big man from Link Academy (where he’s teammates with Medlock).
By all accounts, Michigan State is going all-in on Taylor to be the priority center target in the Spartans’ 2026 class. There are some other options at center like Tristan Reed and Maxime Meyer, but the Spartans may have gotten another positive development in the recruitment of Taylor.
