Michigan State basketball has been on fire over the past week, scheduling a handful of official visits and landing its first commit in the 2026 recruiting class.
Carlos Medlock Jr. committed to the Spartans on Friday evening, giving Michigan State its first pledge in the cycle and a guy who could help Tom Izzo recruit. Having that point guard of the future locked in and getting him on campus for Grind Week over Sept. 5 weekend with a couple of other major recruiting targets will be massive.
One of those targets could end up being his backcourt mate in the 2026 class.
